Bringing "home" back to "homework"

So for this entry, I interviewed my dad. He actually found it wierd that I was asking him these questions and he told me to email or text mymmom these questions (shes in the Sates kc) but i said i needed it for my blog... and his reply was: "whats that?"... but anyways, these are his answers:
1. What was the funniest thing I did when I was a baby?
--> "When you were young, your mama had a lot of exercise tapes and one time you were copying one by Jane Fonda. Apparently, you couldn't cope up and then you said "Sobra ka na Jane ah".
**well, i was young and easily tired.... stupid jane fonda... :(
2. What was my first word?
-->"mama... Since she was always with you at home"
3. What was my first food/favorite food?
--> "macopa, because we used to have a tree in our backyard."
**yeah, I remember waiting under the tree for one to fall down... I was a short child.
4. What was the craziest thing you did when you were a student?
--> "I volunteered for a red cross thing during a flood. I was determined to go even if it was against my dads wishes, without realizing I had to ride a bangka through the flood when I didn't know how to swim".
**haha... my brilliant father talaga!! :))
5. How did you and dad/mom meet? (if it's too awkward to ask, you're excused)
--> "I was the resident and your mama was an intern and we got "amore-d" :) .
**according to my dad, out of all the girls who liked him and who he took out, it was only my mom who could ride his Beattle car.. haha
6. If you could do anything other than what you are doing now, what would it be?
--> "I'd be an architect but my mom wanted me to pursue medicine, to be the doctor of the family".
** yeah yeah, thats what he told me too... I mean, being the doctor of the family part... kala ko pa naman originally from him... from my lola pala!
7. Tell me a secret you kept from your parents. (*grin*)
--> "they didn't know I was with your mama, they thought I was with someone else" ... BTW that was just during our courtship.
**wow, underground relationship! haha...
8. Tell me something about you that I still don't know.
--> "One of my girlfriends was pure Chinese and when her parents found out we were seeing each other, they prohibited it since I wasn't pure Chinese."
**ohhh.. I could've been half Chinese.. interesting! haha"

Hahaha! I could imagine the exercise thing happening in real life! I have a younger cousin who's like that now and she joins her mom with complete exercise outfit.
My lola used to call me macopa, not because I liked it but because I looked like one. (Oh joy...)
I hope you enjoyed this homework! :D Keep exploring.
omg!!! sobra ka na karla ah! =))
Haha! Macopa always made my tongue feel itchy... Hehehe!
I had a Barbie exercise tape. Jennifer Love Hewitt was there -- she was 14 when they filmed that, I think.
Hehehe.
Karla!! Haha! Today was fun! :D
